People mostly use it in a downright position, while sleeping, but it can also be used upright. The lumbar orthopedic pillow is very effective for relieving lower back pain while sitting, because it is designed to be placed at your lower back to ensure a correct position. This one has a half moon shape, which is why it is also used for leg elevation and neck support. Then there is also the body pillow, which is one of the best types of orthopedic pillow because it supports the whole body, it can be very helpful while sleeping and it can replace many of the other pillows presented here.
